Is Seatopia's Seafood Farmed or Wild-Caught?Updated 11 days ago
Every species in the Seatopia lineup is responsibly farmed and that distinction is central to everything we do.
We partner exclusively with artisanal aquaculture farms that hold certifications from the leading independent bodies in sustainable seafood:
- Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)– bapcertification.org
- Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) – asc-aqua.org
- Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch– seafoodwatch.org
These certifications are not marketing labels, they are rigorous third-party standards that prohibit prophylactic antibiotics, synthetic hormones, GMOs, artificial coloring agents, and unsustainable feed practices. They require transparency at every stage of the supply chain, from hatchery to harvest.
Responsible aquaculture, done right, is one of the most powerful tools we have for feeding people well without depleting the ocean. That's the foundation of our Regenerative Aquaculture 3.0 philosophy — and why every farm in our network is vetted, certified, and continuously improving.
