Many of our farm partners use vaccines as a preventive health measure in accordance with third-party certification requirements. Vaccines in all agriculture, not just aquaculture, are one part of a comprehensive strategy to avoid antibiotics or other treatments. The goal is to maintain a robust immune system through clean environments and proper nutrition, while minimizing pharmaceutical reliance.

mRNA vaccines are not used in aquaculture at this time but we are monitoring their development.
